CEO HEPPELL.NET | PROFESSOR THE FELIPE SEGOVIA CHAIR OF LEARNING INNOVATION AT UNIVERSIDAD CAMILO JOSÉ CELA
Sport has long known that that excellence comes from a focus on every tiny detail. In Learning, finally (thanks in part to insights via the Internet of Things and data), we are able to properly appreciate the importance of those tiny details too, from the level of light or CO2 in our learning spaces to the importance of movement, connectivity or sound.
There is no single “silver bullet” but a mass of little details all of which really do matter. Around the world projects are exploring ways to impact these many variables – practical simple things that everyone including the learners, can do right away. This talk explores those marginal gains.
Stephen’s “eyes on the horizon, feet on the ground” approach, coupled with a vast portfolio of effective large scale projects over three decades, have established him internationally as a widely and fondly recognized leader in the fields of learning, new media and technology.
A school teacher for more than a decade, and a professor since 1989, Stephen has worked, and is working, with learner led projects, with governments around the world, with international agencies, Fortune 500 companies, with schools and communities, with his PhD students and with many influential trusts and organizations.
